The Armenian Catholic Issue in the Russian Empire in Early 20th Century The article considers the legal and canonical status of the Armenian Catholic community in the Russian Empire and demonstrates the specifics of the relations of Armenian Catholic congregation and clergy with Russian state authorities and Roman Catholic hierarchy. The author dwells at length on the changes in the status of Russian Armenian Catholics which occurred after the establishment of the Apostolic 201 Administration according to the Agreement of April 14, 1903 between the Russian Throne and the Roman Curia.
