This article deals with the design of an asynchronous engine, namely, the features of stator and rotor production are touched upon. Varieties of stator and rotor grooves are considered for their structural features with respect to their size, shape and materials used. Separately touched the device winding stator and its key components. Methods are proposed for increasing the starting torque and reducing the starting current. The subtleties of the interaction with the inductive and active components of the working machine. The advantages of winding the rotor of an induction motor with a squirrel-cage rotor were revealed.
