Association of South-East Asian nations and Russia in world politics: from confrontation to partnership

The article presents an analysis of the activities of the Association of South East Asian Nations in the modern world politics. Interaction of ASEAN and Russia was being built from confrontation to partnership in the key areas of the political and economic spheres, security issues, counteraction to extremism and terrorism, scientific and technological cooperation and other. The modern dialogue is interesting for both ASEAN and Russia, since it opens new horizons of partnership in the region.
