Atlas of national park «Ugra» (experience, problems, prospects)

Article focuses attention to a problem of non-systematic of cartographical maintenance of especially safeguarded natural territories. (ESNT). Presence of specific structure, scientific approach and devel-oped methodology of cartographical maintenance of ESNT activity would allow to optimize manage-ment of natural resources, protection, to make process of ecological education more evident. Article considers the atlas of national park consisting of three sections: «Natural heritage », «Historical and cul-tural heritage» and «Park activity». The subjects of maps is connected with the purposes and problems of national park: preservation of unique cultural and natural heritage, ecological propaganda and educa-tion.
