The object of the study was a marble sculpture exhibited at the Kaliningrad Regional Museum of Fine Arts. The authors of the study were faced with the task to attribute the sculpture. It was established that the sculpture with a high degree of probability comes from the collection of the Klein Beynuhnen estate (now the territory of the Kaliningrad region) and represents a copy from a plaster cast from the collection of A. R. Mengs in Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden. The cast of Mengs, in turn, is a copy of the sculpture Head of a Goddess from the State Hermitage.
