Audit of intellectual assets and management of rightholder's risks

The author analyzes the practice of conducting an audit of intellectual property and shows, by examples, to what negative consequences the irresponsible attitude of rightholders to their own intellectual assets leads. It concludes that properly conducted audit allows identifying problems with intellectual assets, eliminating them in time and taking active steps to improve the quality of the intellectual property portfolio.
