In this paper, the existing problems of non-destructive testing (NDT) of the main coating parameters of complex profile products are considered. To solve them, it is proposed to develop an automated technology for complex NC of the main coating parameters of complex profile products. The analysis of NC methods is carried out, the basic requirements for an automated installation are determined, on the basis of which the analysis of existing technical solutions is carried out. A kinematic scheme of the positioning mechanism of measuring instruments has been developed. The dependence of the lengths of the links of the positioning mechanism of measuring instruments on the basic dimensions of a complex profile product is determined.
