Automated stand for conducting laboratory work in electrical engineering disciplines

The transformation of the technological structure of society associated with the digitalization of the economy requires from teachers of electrical engineering disciplines of secondary special and higher education not only revising of theoretical information presented in the work programs, but also to continuous modernizing of the laboratory base with extensive use of information technologies. Modern laboratories of technical disciplines should not only be equipped with automated stands, but also provide the possibility of conducting physical experiments remotely. In our opinion, the development of laboratory stands with the use of technical and software tools for industrial automation, such as input and output of signals, interface devices with the object, sensors and SCADA systems, is promising. We have developed and manufactured an automated laboratory stand based on a personal computer, a multifunctional signal input/output board, a physical model of an asynchronous electric drive and specialized software. The stand allows to conduct laboratory work in disciplines related to the study of electronics, automation, automated process control systems in the areas of higher and secondary special education.
