Inner Mongolia autonomous region of China: administrative-territorial division and economic characteristics

Nowdays many Chinese researchers notice that economic and socio-cultural development of the border zone is becoming a priority to present Chinese culture and introduction innovative intercultural practices. Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is bordered on the north by Russia and, accordingly, is a provider of China‘s policy to the north countries such as Russia and Mongolia. So, today is the need for a comprehensive study of the region of Inner Mongolia, in order to identify economic, demographic and socio-cultural processes in the region, which will help to correct the alignment of the intercultural dialogue between our countries. The given article provides a general description of the region: geographical location, economic situation, where the main attention is focused on the scientific and technical unit.
