Autonomous region Inner Mongolia at the end of the 1970s - the beginning of the 1990s in official Chinese press (on the materials of «Renmin ribao» newspaper)

One of the most important strategic areas of the PRC is the Autonomous Region Inner Mongolia (ARIM). Throughout the 20th century, the spasmodically changing national policy towards national autonomies had a huge impact on the inhabitants of Inner Mongolia. In the first decade of realization of the policy of reform and openness, ARIM received serious support for its development. The official Chinese press constantly covered the changes taking place in the region.
