It was revealed that the inhibitors of GASAN-1 and GAZAN-2 had a bactericidal effect on the sulfate-reducing bacteria. Depending on the concentration (max. 10 mg / l) and the nature of the inhibitor, the number of viable bacterial cells decreased by 90-100%, which correlated with a decrease in the formation of hydrogen sulfide by 90%.
