Point-rating system as a means of motivating students to study (on the example of the academic discipline "Library pedagogy")

This article discusses the experience the point-rating system usage in the Moscow State Institute of Culture while teaching the academic discipline "Library Pedagogy" to 2nd year undergraduate students in the direction "Library and Information Activities". The results of students’ survey conducted in order to identify attitudes towards the point-rating system are analyzed.
