Bankruptcy of citizens: first results of a new extrajudicial procedure and prospects for the institute's development

The author sums up the results of the first year of implementation of the extrajudicial bankruptcy procedure and reveals the legislators’ plans to expand access to it for citizens. Shows the dynamics of growth in the number of standard court bankruptcies. Concludes that with a change in legislation, one can expect high rates of growth in the number of judicial bankruptcies and the activation of extrajudicial bankruptcies.
