Bankruptcy of industrial enterprises in the region: socio-economic consequences and minimization mechanisms

In the context of significant geopolitical changes and instability of the global economy, the development of industrial enterprises is becoming a key factor in ensuring the sustainability of socio-economic development of regions and the country as a whole. At the same time, their bankruptcy is currently becoming a serious threat to the region's economy and social stability. Based on official statistics, the article concludes that bankruptcy has a negative impact on the socio-economic development of the regions, which is confirmed by a decrease in tax revenues to the budget, increased social tension and other factors. Coordinated actions by government agencies, regional authorities, and the business community are required to effectively mitigate the negative effects of this phenomenon.
