With permission by the Department of Environment of the Ministry of Health and the Environment of Antigua and Barbuda, from 9 to 29 February 2016 the collection of one species of amphibians (one sample in alcohol), six species of reptilians (15 samples in alcohol), 21 species birds (34 samples of skins, 30 samples of skeletons, 12 samples in alcohol, seven samples of muscle in alcohol for genetic researches), and two species of bats (3 samples of skins, 1 sample in alcohol, 1 muscle sample in alcohol) were taken in Antigua and Barbuda Islands, including in Barbuda - 8 bird species (7 samples of skins, 6 samples of skeletons, and 4 samples of alcohol). The male of Barbuda Warbler Dendroica subita Riley, 1904, was caught on 27 February 2016 in 5 km from Codrington Village. Its skin, wing and body in alcohol (№ R-136104) were passed to Zoological Museum of the Moscow State University. On 6 September 2017 the hurricane “Irma” with wind speed up to 100 m/sec destroyed Barbuda Island. Leaves from bushes and trees were completely ripped off. Shrubs and trees were turned out of the soil on huge areas. Probably Barbuda Warbler was annihilated by hurricane, which was unprecedented in power from the fixed hurricanes in the Caribbean islands, and Barduda Island endemic possible extinct. During a one-day survey trip to Barbuda on September 22, a team from its Antiguan partner Environment Awareness Group (EAG) and the Department of the Environment discovered a total of eight Barbuda Warblers, and in one and a half month - 145 особей (http://www.birdscaribbean.org/2017/09/good-news-conservationists-excited- to-find-surviving-barbuda-warblers-on-devastated-island/). Evidently that it is necessary to conduct special research of the Barbuda Wabler status and revisions of this species in museum collections in the world with the goal to estimate its representativeness and degree of preservation of the species collections. Also it is needed to review its status in IUCN Red List.
