Basic digital competences of the economically active population

The article presents the results of the next stage of the study of basic digital competencies, conducted by the author in April 2022 and aimed at studying expert opinion on digital competencies necessary for labor market participants at the present stage of society development. The subject of the study is the category of “competencies of the digital economy”. The purpose of this article is to study the structure of competencies from the standpoint of the requirements of the labor market and the need for digital competencies of the economically active population. The solution of this problem is supposed to be carried out using the method of expert survey. In the course of the work, four groups of basic digital competencies were identified, distributed depending on their level of complexity and the need for gradual development of the digital economy in the labor market. As a result of the survey, it became possible not only to analyze the level of development of competencies at the moment, but also to systematically influence the formation and further development of competencies within both a separate organization and society as a whole. The areas of applicability of the results lie in the further development of technology for developing competencies in the digital environment, as well as the factors and conditions for a successful transition to a digital economy, the risks and consequences of digital transformation for the labor market.
