Basic concepts of the circular economy

In the modern economic system, man is extracting natural resources at an ever-increasing pace and turning them into a product that, after a single use, is thrown away. From the point of view of the individual or organization, this seems to be effective. However, the current environmental situation shows how wrong this approach is. It is necessary to build a completely different economic system, the cyclical economy model seems to be more acceptable and has every chance of effective functioning. This article outlines the basic concepts of the circular economy, determines the prerequisites for building such a model in Russia, and identifies constraints to its implementation.
