Basic principles and perspectives of Network Calculus application

Application problems of classical queuing theory for research quality of service parameters multiservice traffic in packet networks on the basis of analysis of packet traffic features like this networks are shown in article. Basic principles of perspective Network Calculus theory are considered. Review available researches in the region of deterministic and stochastic net-work calculus, perspective directions of this theory application are specified.
