Azure tit (Cyanistes Cyanus) in the Amur and Jewish autonomous regions

The paper presents information about the occurrence and trapping of the Azure Tit (Cyanistes cyanus) in the Amur and Jewish Autonomous regions and in the adjacent territory of the People’s Republic of China for the period from the 1970s to the present. The authors provide an overview of the species distribution and its features in the regions. The largest population (occurrence) of the species was found in the floodplains of the Zeya and Amur rivers, bordering the southern tip of the Amur-Zeya plateau, and the smallest - in the Jewish Autonomous region. Some aspects of the ecology and habitat preferences of the Azure Tit, the seasonal dynamics of population and fat score of the species are considered in the article. The authors give some new facts of nesting finds in the region and primary data on the species migrations in the floodplain of the Amur River.
