Today, the Belaya Vera (Burkhanism) movement is developing in Altai. The ideology of this faith is the revival of primordial traditions and the renaissance of the golden age of the Altai. The followers of this ideology believe in the Trinity God (Uch-Kurbustan) and deify Swan, Goose and other birds. According to them, the White Swan is closely connected with the cult of Mother Earth, i.e., with Altai. They consider the spiritual Way of the White Faith - the Way of the White Swan or the Way of the Heavenly Goose, which is associated with the name of the hero of Gesar (Abai-Geser). This article raises the question of the mysterious tribe of geese or swans of the single Solar "Khor / Khorai people", about the connections of the Sayan-Altai cults of the Swan and Goose, with the cult of the Snake, the Dragon, popular in Tibet and China, and about the synthesis, transformation of other images - " Swan-Dragon ”,“ Goose-Dragon ”, etc. N. V. Abaev believes that the heroic epic of Geser is irrefutable evidence of the connection of the religion of the Scythian-Aryans and Turkic-Mongols with the archaic totem cults of the Goose-Swans and with not less ancient cult of sacred mountains, in particular with the veneration of Mioic Mount Sumeru.
