The research analyzes the struggle between the émigré leaders of the Russian Army and different representatives of Russian monarchist movement for ideological leadership and subordinate unit relations. The study reveals the reasons for the contradictions between the Commander-In-Chief, Chairman of the Russian All-Military Union, General P.N. Wrangel and the leaders of Supreme Monarchist Council, Paris monarchists groups, monarchist (legitimist) movement. The focus is on the activities of such White monarchists as P.B. Struve, V.V. Shulgin, and I.A. Ilyin in the 1920s. The author analyzes the views of the representatives of this movement, identifies common ground between them and the command of the army, reviews their new approaches to dealing with the leaders of the Russian émigré monarchists (N.E. Markov, A.F. Trepov, A.N. Krupensky), Grand Dukes Nikolai Nikolaevich and Kirill Vladimirovich.
