The main goal of the work is to determine the most promising of the existing technologies for organizing wireless sensor networks. The result of the work is an overview of the five most popular technologies (ZigBee, Z-Wave, Thread, BLE, HaLow) with subsequent comparison by key characteristics such as data transfer speed, data transmission distance between two nodes, typical transmitter power, type and battery life, number of connected devices, integrated IP integration, mesh topology support.
