Security and law in the era of digital immortality and neurotechnologies

The article explores the use of digital technologies to create digital avatars of deceased individuals using DeepFake technologies and the concept of “digital immortality.” Special attention is given to the legal and ethical aspects of these technologies, as well as their impact on the psychological well-being of people coping with loss. The potential risks and consequences of using digital avatars to preserve the memory of loved ones are also discussed.
