Unemployment as a negative socio-economic phenomenon in the market economy

The article deals with the main statistical indicators that reflect the problems of employment and unemployment in the Russian Federation. On the basis of the analyzed data, the negative trends that unemployment entails are highlighted. On the basis of the presented trends, a set of measures of state regulation is presented, which prevents the growth of unemployment.
