Unemployment as a socioeconomic phenomenon in the contemporary Russia

The article is concerned with such a macroeconomic social phenomenon as unemployment in the conditions of economic crisis in Russia. The authors analyze the social statistic data from October, 2009 till 2011, consider reasons of the unemployment among women and young people, its positive and negative features, and ways of the unemployment overcoming.
