Bibliometric analysis of publications on the problem of Russian border zone

The results of a bibliometric analysis of Russian-language publications on the issues of the Russian borderland study, presented in scientific journals for 1984-2016 are summarized. The most productive authors and groups studying border issues were identified. The branch and thematic structure of the documentary flow on the problem is considered. The effectiveness of scientific journals that publish articles on the study of the Russian borderland is analyzed.
