Bibliometric analysis of publications under the heading “Culture” in the journal “Society: philosophy, history, culture”

The study presents the results of a general bibliometric analysis of publications under the heading “Culture" in the journal “Society: Philosophy, History, Culture" for the period from 2011 to 2020. The analysis was conducted in January 2021 on the basis of information from the journal’s website and the scientific electronic library eLibrary.ru (it includes the Russian Science Citation Index and the Science Index analytical system), as well as the author’s clarifying calculations. The research program was built on the combination of temporal, spatial, rubric and status bibliometrics of the document flow. This approach allowed to set the number of papers in statics and dynamics, to highlight the structure and basic parameters of the array of publications, to characterize the group of authors, to define the geography of the journal’s heading, to identify the scientific productivity and the demand for papers among readers. The results obtained in the course of the study were summarized using SWOT analysis.
