Two antagonistic understanding of the future of book culture is considered in Russia: nihilistic and scientifically-philosophical. Biblionihilism is determined as totality of technocretic stereotypes. Bibliosophy is interpreted as a metatheory of sciences dealing with book and philosophical studies about bibliosphere.
