Library Projects for People with Disabilities: Implementation, Specifics, Results

The article discusses innovative methods of specialized libraries, new forms of work with people with disabilities, and their features. Using the example of creative projects, the solution of urgent problems is shown – the development of information activities, the preservation of cultural traditions. The experience of implementing initiatives of municipal libraries of the Belgorod region, introducing creative ideas, supporting cultural activity, and drawing public attention to social problems is given. Examples of creating favorable conditions for the development of creative abilities and a unified educational and educational space for people with disabilities are considered. The authors highlight issues such as the socio-cultural integration of people with disabilities into society, improving literacy, which the library helps to solve through project activities.
