Alexander N. Veselovsky's collection in rare books holdings of Perm State Pedagogical University library

This article presents a survey of the books from Academician A.N. Veselovsky's (1838-1906) collection, which was donated to the Rare Books Holdings of Perm State Pedagogical University Library by his son. Here we mean scientific and fiction literature editions, first of which contain in particular the researches of the library collector, for example his work of 1899 "To the question of literacy and well-breeding campaign in history of Russian literature", which is not mentioned in contemporary reference books. Veselovsky's collection counted about 2 000 books published in the XVII-XX centuries in Russian and foreign languages (mostly in French, but also in German, English and Greek).
