The aim of this study is to show an approach to a typology of the emotive valences of a word. Conforming to a criterion – a type of emosemes (obvious\hidden) which are at the base of the emotive valences of a word, three types of emotive valences are described: actualisation and explication (based on obvious emosemes) and invention (based on hidden emosemes).
