Libraries in prisons (analytical review: materials for research)

The article is devoted to an analytical review of the activities of the penitentiary libraries of Russia and a few foreign countries, particularly, the UK, Germany, the USA and France. Considerable importance is given to research materials, highlighting reading among the prisoners, as well as the conditions of detention in the prisons of the world community.
