Library management of intellectual property in the region

The new approaches to the organization of information support of innovation and scientific and technological development on the basis of the library are explained. The experience of the British library and working in the structure of the London center of intellectual property and business support is analyzed. The paper discusses the prospect of adaptation of this experience for regional information infrastructure in Russia. There are new approaches to regional library implementing the ideas of knowledge management and innovation in the article. It proposed a project of network cooperation between the Federal Institute of industrial property and regional universal scientific libraries.
