The article deals with the role of the unique scientific branch (pedagogical) library of our country - Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution “Scientific pedagogical library named after K.D. Ushinsky” of the Russian Academy of Education (now the information center “Library named after K.D. Ushinsky” of the Russian Academy of Education) in the process of bibliographing the works and literature about the life and activity of the outstanding native teachers, including one of the founders of the Russian pedagogical science - K.D. Ushinsky.
