The influence of some elements of cultivation on frost-resistance formation in winter plants of Camelina sativa was studied. The dynamics of free proline content in rosellate leaves during plants wintering was estimated. It was shown that the proline content may be used successfully as diagnostic test for the estimation of influence of agronomical techniques on the state of wintering plants. The optimal parameters of agrotechnology of Camelina sativa plants providing the tolerance to the frost are the norm of sowing of 6-7 million of germinating seeds per hectare and the crop sowing at the last decade of August (early date of winter crops sowing in region).
