The bioindication of the quality of the atmospheric air of Volgograd by the method of the analysis of the degree of the fluctuating asymmetry of the leaf of the drooping birch (Betula pendula Roth)

The article deals with the results of the examination of the assimilation apparatus of the trees of the drooping birches, growing at the territory of the Kirovsky district of Volgograd. The study demonstrated that the most significant changes of the fluctuating asymmetry of the trees, that are near the highway and are impacted by the constant chemical effect of the exhaust gas of the automobile transport.
