Bioinert electronic coatings of the Ti-Nb system for medical implants

This article presents the results of a study of the profile of the structure of bio-inert electro-explosive coatings of the Ti-Nb system using optical metallography. The results of measuring the microhardness of electrically explosive coatings of the Ti-Nb system are presented and the reasons leading to a change in the microhardness values of the coatings of this system are established. Based on the experimental values obtained, a graph of the microhardness distribution over the depth of the coating obtained is presented.
