The given article is the first to present data on the habitation of the nine-spined stickleback in the Kuybyshev water reservoir, its morphometric characteristics, age and gender structure, terms of spawning, prolificacy, nutrition; and also on the presence of heavy metals, toxic elements and radioactive nucleids.
