Nowadays the problem of recycling waste products in forestlogging and woodworking industries is actual. In Russia annual volume of waste products in these industries reaches 100 millions cubic metres. The way of the conversion wood wastes is known as bioconversion by a method of composting. Not only depuration of ecosystems take place at composting wood wastes, but also a useful product - an organic fertilizer - is produced. The microbial leavens including microorganisms-destructors of the cellulose and lignin which are the main biopolymers of wood are use for speeding-up the process of composting. In that work from natural sources (rotten wood, timber ground, compost and others) there were chosen 112 cultures of microorganism which were probable biodestructors of wood, 70 cultures of them were micromycetes and 42 cultures were bacteria. The methods for carrying out screening cellulose- and lignolytic strains of microorganisms were chosen and tried. With the help of worked out methods two strains of micromycetes were chosen amongst 112 under investigation cultures. These micromycetes were identified as Fusarium sp. and Aspergillus sp. The loss of lignin quantity in sawdust at solid-phase cultivation on them under investigation strains was defined on 8th day: for micromycete Fusarium sp. - 10,2 percent, for micromycete Aspergillus sp. - 9,4 percent. These strains were found perspective for inclusion in composition of the biopreparation for speeding-up composting of wood wastes.
