Clarification and revision of the norms of mineral nutrition for humans and animals, as well as the search for new effective sources of mineral supplements, are of urgent importance. Shifts in mineral metabolism often occur as a result of geochemical and man-made environmental pollution, which can lead to an excess of toxic elements entering the body. Such elements can be fluorine. lead, mercury. chromium, antimony, and others. Epidermal formations, like any other tissues, reflect the state of the environment and functional features of this type of tissue in ontogenesis by their mineral composition, distribution of trace element levels.
