The authors determined the clinical symptoms, biochemical indices of blood and tissues of brain in healthy sheeps and during avitaminosis B1, induced by pirithiamin and oxithiamine injection, and also in animals at the spontaneuos cerebrocortical necrosis. The equal specific biochemical manifestations of avitaminosis were revealed during pirithiamine injection in animals with cerebrocortical necrosis. The oxithiamine application result in similar changes in biochemical content of sheep's blood, but don't affect the central nervous system. The treatment of animals with cerebrocortical necrosis by means of cocarboxylase, sodium adenosine triphosphate, lipoic and glutamic acids promote to clinical recovery and normalization of biochemical content of blood after 1 week of therapy.
