The article deals with the main factors affecting multiplicity of different agricultural animals, such as age-related variability, the influence of environmental conditions, heredity, sex ratio, feeding, embryo transplantation and hormone therapy. By multi-fertility means the ability of some species of animals to give in a single litter a few cubs. Multiparty is of great importance for pigs, as well as rabbits, being, at the same time, the most important reproductive quality. For single-breed animals (cattle, horses, etc.), there are artificial ways of increasing multiplicity. However, the use of such methods without adequate knowledge of the case can lead to a mass mortality of animals during pregnancy and after childbirth.
