Biological features of pike (Esox lucius) in Gimolskoe lake (Western Karelia)

The study of population indicators of pike in Gimolskoe lake (Karelia Republic) are presented. The age and sex structure of the pike, it linearly-weight growth, fecundity, feeding habits were analyzed. Increasing of pike linear weights parameters is deal with decreasing of fish catch in the water body. It is recommended the organization of recreational and commercial fishing in the lake.
