Dairy farming currently remains one of the leading branches of animal husbandry and its development is important not only in ensuring the country's food independence, but also in the social aspect. The purpose of the research is to study the influence of ecogenesis of breeding bulls on the intensity of their growth and biotechnological indicators of sperm production Research was conducted on the basis of JSC "Orlovskoe" on breeding work. The object of the study was bulls of different origin and their lactating daughters. The material for the study was the cards of breeding records and documents of primary zootechnical accounting. As a result of the conducted research, it was found that the linear growth of bulls of producers of different ecogenesis corresponded to the normative indicators and did not have significant differences. Analysis of biotechnological indicators of sperm bulls of different ecogenesis and of different ages showed that with age, the number of sperm decreases in the lines M. Chieftain and R. Sovereign, in line W. B. Ideal on the contrary increases. The best quality of sperm production is observed at the age of 12 months
