The article discusses the main stages of collecting business requirements for a product offered to a customer, the role of a business analyst in IT companies, expert systems in IT companies, the connection of a manufactured product with B2C, B2B, and B2B2C. The article shows the feasibility of using decision support systems in IT companies, as well as the existing limitations in use. The importance of this study lies in improving the efficiency of company project management, which is represented by the ability to provide clear information about the tasks of each employee and predict possible solutions and alternatives.
