Business processes of trading organizations: features, tasks, stages of design

The article discusses the concept of a business process in the interpretation of various authors, its types and features in trading enterprises are characterized. The business process is defined as a comprehensive concept that includes elements such as interconnected operations and actions, as well as the presence of entry and output and includes the transformation of various resources into a final product useful for the consumer. The main composition of business processes in trading organizations is clarified. Digitalization of trade necessitates the design of new business processes, since innovative decisions are introduced into trading activities in the form of robotization of warehouses and other elements of infrastructure, smart contacts with suppliers, chat bots, personal assistants of BIG DATA for studying demand. The work provides tasks solved with the help of new business processes, the main stages of designing business processes of trading organizations are considered, and key indicators are presented to assess the effectiveness of business processes. Effective design of business processes of trade organizations will contribute to their financial stability, increased competitiveness. Particular attention is paid to the process of modeling business processes: the stages of modeling a business process, methods used to model business processes are presented. It is also necessary to prepare personnel for the introduction of a new business process in order to overcome the possible resistance of its employees to this procedure.
