The article analyzes the organization of charitable activities carried out by the Nobel family in Russia. Special attention is paid to the characteristics of the socio-economic policy pursued by the Nobels in the late XIX-early XX centuries. The authors carefully examine various sources that allow us to speak about the effectiveness of the events held by the Nobels, which contributed to the development of entrepreneurship in Russia. Considerable attention is paid to the scientific, educational and educational spheres of activity carried out by the Nobels, who were the founders of various scholarships, allowances, prizes, including the famous "Nobel prize", which was awarded for outstanding scientific research and inventions. Materials related to the restructuring of the oil business in Russia by the Nobel brothers, particularly in Baku, and the monopolization of the oil trade are of great interest for study.
