The article deals with the main results of the study of Neolithic complex of Bogoliubovka-1 site. This complex belongs to Khanka Lake basin group of sites that are clearly associated with early agriculture in Primorye. The site is of interest as it has only one layer and contains “pure” complex typical for the group. Two species of cultivated millet were found in the sites of this group. The description demonstrates maximum uniformity of the material. The complex of tools has no clear indication related to agricultural activities. It is necessary to use special trace research method to reveal if the tools were used this way. Khanka group complex contains elements indicating that agriculture became one of the most important form of the adaptation of the local population. This phenomenon was progressive for its time and its consequences can be seen in emergence of quality ceramics and items of plastic art that give a notion of some sides of social life of local community.
