The review is dedicated to the new monograph by N. N. Pavlyuchenkov, in which he attempts to explore Russian religious philosophy in the perspective of the “theology of all-unity.” According to N. N. Pavlyuchenkov, this direction is connected with the taking in late Schelling’s teachings on the potencies and the birth of God from the «foundation». Highlighted is the novelty of the author’s approach, which differs from the ideas of most historians of Russian philosophy. It is also noted that as a rule, the influence of Schellingianism on Russian philosophy was considered in the negative light, being often labeled as Gnosticism. “Theology of all-unity” is characterized as a new term that rehabilitates the concept of all-unity. N. N. Pavlyuchenkov’s approach to the teachings of Russian philosophers from Ivan Kireevsky and Alexei Khomyakov to Vladimir Lossky and St. Justin (Popovich) is analyzed. The opinion supported is that the monograph contributes to the comprehension of Russian thought as an integral part of European thought and also demonstrates the potential resource of the concept of all-unity.
