Lateral interval and distance as a threat road safety

This article analyzes the concept of “dangerous driving”, discusses the problems of qualification of dangerous driving in terms of determining the safe side interval and distance between vehicles, as well as determining the intent and the real possibility of preventing the consequences of a traffic accident. It is proposed to fix the normative requirements in the traffic rules on the observance of distance and lateral interval in specific minimum units of measurement.
